Chapter 1 - Planting Season
Explores the sugar planting season, through formal portraits of the Judice Farm planting team. The images are captured with a 19th century aesthetic which represents the antiquated act of planting sugar cane which has not evolved much since the 19th century.
Chapter 2 - Harvest
Attempts to give a localized view of the industry by documenting the sugar harvest season of Acadiana through a dramatic midcentury modern approach.
Chapter 3 - Taste and See
A contemporary look at Acadiana through the surrounding landscape and culture, influenced by the agricultural area.
